Thrifty Yard Sale is a ministry of Community Presbyterian Church, providing low-priced items for the community. Proceeds, in-kind and monetary, benefit the Community Pantry, Boys and Girls Club, Family Support Center, and the Pregnancy Care Center.

HISTORY

Thrifty Yard Sale began in 2010 as a three-month fundraiser; however, overwhelming community support and continuing donations have made it a successful, ongoing ministry of Community Presbyterian Church.

Built in 1914 as a minister’s home (manse, parsonage), the building was originally located on Main Street in Brigham City, near the current location of Box Elder County Justice Center.

In 1954, the building was relocated by truck to its current address.

The entire home is used to display thousands of donated items.

CLOSED FOR WINTER
Thrifty Yard Sale will close for the winter November 23rd. It remains closed until snow drifts are gone, or manageable, usually around the first of February.
