🗒 NOTES FROM SESSION
Watch for action on our prayer garden. Plans are for curbing, sprinklers, additional topsoil, hydro seeding – and we hope it is ready to be used for Vacation Bible School on our church campus the final week of July.
Holy Communion will be served on Sunday, July 12, to avoid the Independence Day holiday weekend.

☕️HANKS Hour(1st Tuesday, subject to change)
Hank’s Hour is Tuesday, June 9, at 10 a.m. at BuzzBru. This is a time to enjoy informal conversation over your choices of beverage. All are invited. It’s a great time to get caught up on one another, and to bring a friend to get acquainted with other church folks.

📚 BOOK CLUB
The next meetings of Book Club will be on Thursday, June 4 and 18, at 4 p.m., in Gillespie Hall. We are studying Twelve Daring Women of the Bible. Everyone is invited to this discussion group. We meet on the first and third Thursday of each month. Contact Kate Hinchee for information, or just show up.
🍔 LUNCH BUNCH
Everyone is invited to go out to lunch at 12 noon on the last Tuesday of each month, gathering in a local eatery to enjoy fellowship over lunch. Do you have a good idea for a place on Tuesday, June 30? Let Edna Munson or Sarah Yates know if you plan to attend so we can make reservations.

💰 WHAT IS NOISY BUCKET?
On Communion Sunday the children walk down the aisle with metal buckets and shake them as you drop your loose change inside. These funds are donated monthly to the Box Elder Community Pantry to help those who need food. PS – paper money is welcome!
🏠 THRIFTY YARD SALE
Our Thrifty Yard Sale is open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and always has new stock for sale at bargain prices. Right now, they are low on jewelry, which is a popular sales item. What about going through that box of “jewels” and donating the non-used items?
They always need volunteers on weekday mornings and to carry items out and put them away on Saturdays. Also donations of new and lightly-used items, but please not on Friday or Saturday during open hours. This is not just a fund-raiser, but also a mission to the many people who seek and find friendship along with their bargains.
⏰ CHURCH OFFICE HOURS
Pastor Kirk and our church secretary, Raylene van Leeuwen, are in the church office in Gillespie Hall on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. If you have announcements or other information for the church bulletin, please have these turned in by 9 a.m. Thursday. The office number is 435-723-6262 and the email address is cpcbcoffice@gmail.com.
BACKPACKS FOR KIDS
Each August, we collect and distribute new backpacks and school supplies.
Bring donations throughout August. Know a child that would gain? Let Pastor Kirk know.

BIBLE DEVOTIONAL FOR SENIORS

Check Announcements and/or our Social Media Accounts for future dates/times.

PLEDGE CARDS
Qualified Charitable Distribution(QCD’s) fliers are in the back of the sanctuary.
Every household in our congregation should have received the annual Stewardship campaign letter in October. As Session prepares the 2025 budget, it is obvious that costs will increase. Expenses will rise for insurance, utilities, maintenance, and everything else. This past quarter, church income has not met church expenses. Session transferred $10,000 from the Edward Jones stock account to cover those costs. It is hoped that year-end giving will help close our books in the black.
If you didn’t get the mailing you can pick up information at the back table. Cards can be mailed to the church office. They can also be placed in the offering. Alternatively, they can be dropped in the mail slot by the office doors on 300 South.
