COMMUNION (1st Sunday)
The first Sunday of each month, we partake in Communion by intinction, which is the practice of breaking off a smaller piece of bread – from a larger loaf – then dipping it into consecrated wine (or juice) before consuming. Some churches offer small, individual wafers and a separate communion-sized shot glass of wine (or juice); however, in our church, the Pastor breaks apart a larger loaf of bread from which we break off smaller pieces and dip into a communal goblet of wine (or juice). If you are unsure how to participate, but would like to join us for Communion, don’t stress the small stuff, just watch the folks around you and follow their lead.
We also offer a gluten free option for the convenience of those with certain allergies.

FIRST FRUITS SUNDAY (1st Sunday)
The first Sunday of each month is First Fruits Sunday and supports the Box Elder Community Food Pantry. Please bring non-perishable foods, paper products, hygiene products, or a cash donation for the Box Elder Community Food Pantry.
The pantry is most in need of peanut butter, dry goods, pasta, rice, beans, canned vegetables, canned fruits, or cash. Whatever you can give will be greatly appreciated!

FOOT CLINIC (2nd Wednesday)
Find yourself praying the entire time you’re clipping your toenails, hoping that you don’t injure yourself? Well, the good news is Callie Taylor, RN, with Ali’s Angels Home Care has more than 15 years of foot care experience and is providing a service to our senior church members with a monthly foot clinic. As you already know, preventative care is the best and usually cheapest care one can receive. This service provides monthly foot care including toenail trimming and full exam of your feet. It’s important to have your feet assessed monthly to identify small problems before they become big problems. Healthy feet are crucial to continued independence, maintaining mobility and reducing the risk of serious complications. Come join the friendly atmosphere for a great service at an even better price! Suggested donation is $5.00.
Contact Callie through the church office to reserve a slot.
The foot clinic will normally be held on the second Wednesday of each month in Gillespie Hall. Please check current announcements or newsletter for exact date/time for the current month.
The pandemic has interrupted this service. Check Newsletter for updates.

NOISY BUCKETS (3rd Sunday)
The third Sunday of each month is Noisy Buckets Offering Sunday and supports the Box Elder Community Food Pantry. Bring all the coins you can find in your sofa, under the refrigerator, under the car seats, etc. The children collect the offering in metal buckets and are encouraged to shake and rattle all those coins down the aisles. So bring some coins to clink!
