π NOTES FROM SESSION
Session approved funds to replace the restroom floor in the Thrifty Yard Sale building – it is already installed and looks great!
Bids are being sought for landscaping in the prayer garden. Donations toward this are always welcome.
We are looking for designs for a βtreeβ on the interior wall approaching the garden, where the names of donors, persons honored or memorials, etc. can be displayed. Submit sketches to Pastor Laura or Barbara Findley.
Session agreed to co-sponsor Vacation Bible School with Main Street Church again this summer, to be held on our church campus this year. It is scheduled for the last week of July. Volunteers can contact Kathy Love for what help is needed – setup, teachers, aides, food, etc.
A withdrawal of $15,000 from our Edward Jones account was approved to meet a shortfall of cash in the general fund.
πLUNCH BUNCH( Last Tuesday of the Month)
Lunch Bunch will gather, May 27th, noon, to have a meal together. Contact Sarah Yates or Edna Munson to offer suggestions for places to eat- in or out? Enjoy an adult lunch-time social!

Watch Announcements and/or our Social Media Accounts for future dates/times.
BIBLE DEVOTIONAL FOR SENIORS
Periodically, we visit local care centers to share hymns and devotionals with residents.
Check Announcements and/or our Social Media Accounts for future dates/times.

PLEDGE CARDS
Every household in our congregation should have received the annual Stewardship campaign letter in October. As Session prepares the 2025 budget, it is obvious that costs will increase. Expenses will rise for insurance, utilities, maintenance, and everything else. This past quarter, church income has not met church expenses. Session transferred $10,000 from the Edward Jones stock account to cover those costs. It is hoped that year-end giving will help close our books in the black.
If you didnβt get the mailing you can pick up information at the back table. Cards can be mailed to the church office. They can also be placed in the offering. Alternatively, they can be dropped in the mail slot by the office doors on 300 South.
