đŸ„« COMMUNITY PANTRY FOOD DRIVE
This year the Community Pantry Food Drive set for March 14 is concerned that its neighborhood food drive may not cover all households and has suggested that churches hold collections and deliver foods to the Community Pantry on that date.  You are encouraged to bring canned and shelf-stable packaged foods to Gillespie Hall on March 1 and March 8.

đŸ„§ PIE (PI = 3.14) SUNDAY
It’s always a fun time to celebrate Pi (March 14 aka 3.14) Sunday, and we’ll be treated to pies, courtesy of Franz, at our after-church fellowship on Sunday, March 15.  No math required, just come and enjoy a pie with your church family.

đŸ„Ł FIFTH SUNDAY POTLUCK
Sunday, March 29, is not only Palm Sunday but also one of the fifth Sundays of the year – so time for our Fifth Sunday Potluck lunch following the worship service.  Be thinking of your main dish, side dish or dessert to share at this time of fellowship.

⏰ CHURCH OFFICE HOURS
Pastor Kirk and our church secretary, Raylene van Leeuwen, are in the church office in Gillespie Hall on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. 🗒 NOTES FROM SESSION
It’s always wonderful to welcome new folks to church membership, and we did so on Sunday, February 15, as we added Jill Avery, Alvin Aubry and Lee Ericson to our official rolls.  If you are interested in knowing more about membership, talk with Pastor Kirk.  A class for new members, as well as those wanting to know more about being a Presbyterian, is held each Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. prior to worship service. All are welcome.

Would you like to serve on a committee – Buildings & Grounds, Christian Education, Personnel, Mission & Fellowship, Stewardship, Evangelism & Communication?  Volunteer
or perhaps anticipate an invitation.  We would like to see everyone more involved in planning our church activities.

ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING
During Lent, a sacred time of year, we remember the love Christ shared with others.  One Great Hour of Sharing is a tradition shared by several Christian denominations to help provide safety, substance and hope to people who lack access to food, clean water, sanitation, education, etc.  It is one of four special offerings of the Presbyterian Church USA during the year.  Our participation not only helps those in needs but gives hope to our neighbors that even during difficult times, love remains.  We will have literature and offering envelopes in the sanctuary during the Lenten season.

☕HANKS Hour(1st Tuesday, subject to change)
Tuesday, March 10, 10 a.m. Hank’s Hour is at BuzzBru, 1149 S 450 W, Brigham City, Utah 84302. This is a time to enjoy informal conversation over your choice of beverage. All are invited. It’s a great time to bring a friend.

🍔 LUNCH BUNCH
Everyone is invited to go out to lunch at 12 noon on the last Tuesday of each month, gathering in a local eatery to enjoy fellowship over lunch.  Let Edna Munson or Sarah Yates know if you have a suggestion for the March 24  get-together and be sure to let them know if you plan to attend so we can make reservations.

Happy Birthday Ray Stender at Ricardo’s

Check Announcements and/or our Social Media Accounts for future dates/times.

PLEDGE CARDS

Qualified Charitable Distribution(QCD’s) fliers are in the back of the sanctuary.

Every household in our congregation should have received the annual Stewardship campaign letter in October.  As Session prepares the 2025 budget, it is obvious that costs will increase. Expenses will rise for insurance, utilities, maintenance, and everything else. This past quarter, church income has not met church expenses.  Session transferred $10,000 from the Edward Jones stock account  to cover those costs.  It is hoped that year-end giving will help close our books in the black.

If you didn’t get the mailing you can pick up information at the back table. Cards can be mailed to the church office. They can also be placed in the offering. Alternatively, they can be dropped in the mail slot by the office doors on 300 South.
